Inheriting characteristics

A lesson to take kS3 students further on their journey of genetics after adaptation and Inheritance. It introduces new keywords, Punnett squares, and calculating probabilities with an opportunity to see how they can be given as percentages, fractions or ratios.

There is a worksheet to accompany the presentation. 

Depending on the students it can be carefully chunked as required, make use of mini-whiteboards to check their understanding along the way.
