Chemical analysis - identifying gases and ions

Students need to know how to identify certain gases and ions. This resource would make a good starter or revision exercise. There are three flow charts, one each for, gases, metal ions and negative ions. Students follow the key to identify the substances. 

The resource would be useful prior to students carrying out required practical 7 - use of chemical tests to identify the ions in unknown single ionic compounds.
