Living with the physical environment - statistical skills

This resource helps develop basic statistical analysis skills whilst focusing on extreme weather and natural hazards. Students use different statistical skills to analyse data about tropical storms, earthquakes and volcanoes.

The aim is to develop their use of mean, median, mode, range etc. within a geographical context. Teaching notes are included with guidance on how to manage the activities and includes answers.
