This resource focuses on four-figure grid references and OS map tourism-related symbols. Students follow a trail around a grid identifying the OS map symbols common to 1:50 000 maps and giving their grid references. It makes a good starter or plenary for KS3 map work but could also be used for a KS4 revision lesson.
