This resource looks at urban change over time using an image of Covent Garden. Students are encouraged to interpret a picture of London's Covent Garden and consider how the area has changed over time using the 5Ws approach. Activities include pair or small group work, opportunities for whole class discussion, a strong literacy focus, ICT and extension tasks. Teaching notes are also included offering guidance of how to manage the task.
