This resource looks at the issues of water scarcity by focusing of the issues of water conflict in the areas surrounding the Aral Sea. Students complete a causes and effects categorising task and a decision making task looking at four possible solutions to the water conflict issues. They need to explain which solution they would choose and why, a structure strip is included to assist students with this written task. Students then watch a video clip to understand which solutions was actually used. Teaching notes are included to offer guidance for the different tasks.
