- Authentic French texts with thoughtfully scaffolded discussion questions to develop critical thinking and analytical skills

Available as a free PDF download or as an editable Word document for subscribers, so you can tailor it to your students' needs or adapt it for other specifications.
How to use this resource
These cards work brilliantly for paired speaking practice or as mock exam preparation. They work best when students have 5-7 minutes to prepare their thoughts, followed by 5-10 minutes of discussion. You might assign different cards to different pairs and then have students report back key points to the whole class. The questions progress from factual recall to personal response and finally to more abstract evaluation, perfect for developing those higher-order thinking skills needed for top grades.
