An open-ended set of ladybird and butterfly sorting cards. The cards can be sorted according to different criteria: colour of wings, number of spots, size, etc. For an extra challenge, ask the children to express the numbers in each group as a fraction of the total number of mini-beasts. Suitable for KS1.
