Say what you see

This upper KS2 descriptive writing resource uses the paintings of LS Lowry as inspiration. Show children one of Lowry's urban landscape paintings and ask them to jot down on the resource what they see. The children then use these notes as a guide to writing descriptive passage to describe the scene. A model extract is provided for guidance.
