I spent twenty years contributing resources to schools and teachers, through a number of publishers including Pearson and - most recently - Scholastic. And of course, Teachit. I started contributing to Teachit in 1999 when it had just started and was operating out of Gary and Siobhain's house. For me it was the natural and wonderful extension of leaving my home-made paper resources around my classroom for the next teacher to stumble upon. I've always loved sharing (and 'stealing').

After a three decade career in teaching, school advising and education writing I have packed it all in to pursue my dream of becoming a fiction writer. Well, not so much pursuing my dream as limping along behind it. My only novel is titled 'Cruel to be Kind'. I've also only won one story writing prize (with my story 'The Only Time I Ran with the Carving Knife').
