When I first began contributing, it was to give something in return for the excellent resources I'd found on site. I came to love the way my 'Cinderella' ideas were transformed by the Teachit team into professional resources. I still get a buzz out of seeing colleagues using my resources unaware that I created them. As one who chose to stay in the classroom rather than follow a management path, contributing is my way of sharing my experience and ideas with colleagues far and wide.

What I love about teaching is the way it keeps me learning, enables me to share ideas and develop strategies with colleagues and students alike. English is the ideal subject for one who loves exploring and making connections. I want my teaching to feel adventurous and exciting: zesty! I also know it needs to be thorough, accessible and illuminating- Teachit resources help me keep that balance.
