This worksheet is intended to help KS2 and KS3 students recall and learn French sports vocabulary.
It starts by revising French words for common sports with a matching exercise. Students must then sort the sports according to whether they require 'jouer' or 'faire'. A sentence builder is provided as an interview scaffold, with six questions and a number of possible answers in French to support students in their speaking. The last activity is a puzzle with sports anagrams and a criss-cross grid to complete in order to find the hidden phrase. Answers are included.
The sports covered include l’équitation, le foot, le handball, le hockey, le judo, la natation, la pêche, la randonnée, le ski, le tennis, le vélo, la voile and le volley.
